Bailey Coats is a 19 year old singer songwriter from Birmingham, Alabama, with a voice and style that is ready to captivate the hearts of millions and impact the music industry globally.

Bailey has been singing for as long as she can remember and her love for the stage and entertaining is unparalleled.
In 2014, Bailey wrote and released her first album titled “American Girl”. The song is about embracing diversity and remaining true to yourself always. Bailey went through a period in her life where she struggled trying to find herself and overcame many hurdles in doing so.  Her message is one of inspiration and support to people who may be struggling with many of the same issues as she did. Bailey offers a voice of encouragement to people everywhere, to embrace your uniqueness within and to know that it’s ok to be different.

Bailey has written many songs and each song reflects an emotion that she felt while working through her own personal struggles. Those emotions are raw, they’re real and they’re honest and that sincerity is felt in every live performance and in every song.

Her songwriting is driven by life experiences and Bailey is adamant about sharing those experiences with her fans everywhere. The song “Don’t Forget” , was written to commemorate the lives lost at Sandy Hook and to encourage others to never forget this tragedy.

In 2015, Bailey captured the attention of Steve Moretti, a multi Grammy nominated producer / musician from Georgia. This collaboration led to Bailey’s second EP “Truth”, which was released in November 2016. The album brings a fresh new approach to her music which Bailey describes it as fun, upbeat, and real.

It does not matter the reason, Bailey loves being on stage, this is home for her. It gives her a rush that is unforgettable. It makes her feel alive and she is truly herself. It is a feeling like no other and she knows this is what she was meant to do. Bailey strives through her music, both on and off stage, to be a positive influence on young and old alike, especially trying to be a positive role model for young girls everywhere.

Bailey has played festivals, concerts and music venues from California to Florida and has been interviewed on several internet radio stations, along with being featured in news and magazine articles across the south. Bailey was recognized as one of the ‘Top 8 Emerging Artists of 2015’ as noted by Kings of A&R and at 17 years old, she won Honorable Mention in an International Songwriting Competition out of 18,000 applicants worldwide.

Bailey is currently enrolled in the School of Engineering at the University of Alabama on a full academic scholarship. She is the recipient of awards such as the National AP Honor Society and the Emily Lester Memorial Award and is a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society.
